star city + registration + 1st sem grades

This might be a quick post since it's already 9:20am and I have a class this 10am. Anyway, it's been two weeks since I last posted (if my memory serves me right). There was no taxing moment however. This week is just the start of classes. I've been busy as a registration assistant since November 4. Actually, the registration period started on November 3. We declared that day as free day. Hazel, Nina, April and I decided to go Star City-ing that day. We really had a lot of fun! The not so nice part was it just opened 4pm and we had to be there until 9pm to take all the rides. My dad was quite busted because I'm not answering my phone and I'm telling him that we only ate dinner somewhere in SM North. The truth was I was at the other side of Manila and taking an Ordinary bus ride going to Philcoa and planning to take a UP Campus Jeep back. Nonetheless, I escaped being caught. I guess I'm really something by now.

Our first stop was SM Mall of Asia. They ate at Teriyaki Boy while I ate my baon. I really took the initiative to bring a packed lunch since I'll be spending a lot on that day (which really happened). We took a couple of pictures in MOA. We didn't get a great view of bay walk since the rain started pouring while we're about to sit in the rocky pavement near the shore. We ended up doing "pampalipas oras" games in the food court. Some of them was "sagutin mo ng tanong yung tanong ko", category game and shit-shit shit game. It's really fun that day.

Three-thirty came and we made our way to Star City. There were a lot of people in the entrance actually. Fortunately, we're one of the people who got in the first part of the lines. Then of course, we rode many rides on the next hours. Here are a couple of pictures from April's camera. Credits to her. =)

Lunch at Karate Kid

Didn't really ate at Karate Kid. I have my baon.

Walang photographer na bitbit eh. =(

Star City. The End.

After our Star City day, we started our Registration Assistant career. I started my job as the one in charge of enlistment. The students are really flooding the hallway. I guess, the course demand survey didn't work out well. The demand survey they conducted last September was meant to gauge the student's demands for subjects they'll take this semester. Students who weren't able to take the survey will have the least priority in registration and may be purged when the section is already full.

For the past few days, I'm waiting for my EEE 105 grade. I was really nervous knowing my grade on that subject since my performance there is not quite well. Then the time came when our professor was there last week and gave us a sneak peak of our grades. When he searched my grade, I saw it was highlighted. Highlighted grades mean failure. I failed... HOWEVER, he wasn't able to find where did I go wrong. He must know why and where did I fail. He didn't find any. He tried observing my grade and still didn't find any deficiency. That's the time when he edited something on the computation part. After pressing enter, the highlight disappeared and my grade changed from 5.0 to 3.0. YES, I PASSED EEE 105 with a grade of 3.0. Hooray for me on that part. It's already 9:38. I guess I need to go now. I only have 20 minutes left to walk.

Nga pala, I really had fun yesterday. An orgmate of mine treated us a pizza because we helped her in her registration. She's one of the unlucky students who wasn't able to take the "real" survey. She didn't know that the first survey was only a batch run. The schedule was confusing though. September 6-8 was the dry run and 8-25 for the real one. She really had a hard time to find subjects since she has least priority in the registration. Also, her subjects were purged every now and then due to many students are petitioning for the section she's in. Anyhow, she completed her 19 units and a year to go before she graduate. I'm happy for her. =)

'Gotta love it, Krisha ♥
