As a chapter ends, another one starts

I have been busy ever since day one of this semester. Finally I was able to be free from this stress when the last grade from EE 242 was published in CRS. I got a 2.25 which means, I am graduating! I am graduating without honors but with clean grades in my transcript. I managed to graduate without a 4, 5, drop or incomplete. I am so proud that at that night, when my last grade was published, I can barely sleep. I am soon attending the long-awaited graduation for EEE students. It was long and bumpy road but I finally passed through everything. Since this post is not mainly attributed to my graduation, I will be flashing excerpts that made my life exciting.

What: Get Licensed 2012
When: March 10, 2012 Saturday
Where: VLC EEEI Building
Who:  UP IECEP and participants from various schools

Get Licensed is the flagship project of UP IECEP. It is now on its 4th year stressing the importance of getting a license by taking the board exam for ECE students. The invited guest speakers provided essential information about topics with regard to the board exam. Engr. Marcelo, the ECE board examiner in PRC, was invited to give out knowledge on what to expect in the ECE board exam. An important topic RA9292 was also discussed by its writer who is also our guest speaker. Some feedback with regard to the recent board exam was given by board top notchers from UP and TIP-Manila. It was fun and successful. A big congratulations for the steering committee headed by Kat. Here are some pictures of the said event.

What: 198 Final Presentations
When: March 26, 2012 Monday
Where: WCEL 404, EEEI Building
Who: WCEL 198-ers

ECE 198 has been a pain in the a** It was a long and rough ride for all of us. It required hard work and perseverance for thesis groups, especially in our laboratory WCEL. We have been together for six months and finally the long struggle came to an end. WCEL 198-ers presented the results of our undergraduate project last March 26. We were in formal attire. I loved my sheer blouse fro F21. My hair, however, is just messy as always. It was nerve-wracking since some of the panel members are harsh and strict. Nevertheless, Nina and I were able to impress our panel with a not-so perfect and incomplete thesis project. Some of the requirements were not met. However, the panel members did not ask about it. We know that omission is a sin but our group really wants to finish this hard task. Finally, thesis time is over. We passed ECE 198 with a perfect grade of 1.0.

What: Fun Unlimited Desserts
When: March 26, 2012 Monday
Where: Love Desserts, Banawe Quezon city
Who: BondEEEs (without Jusey)

After the presentation, we wanted to celebration even through Jusey and Hazel were not able to present. We are sad but Hazel doesn't seem to mind it at all. Jusey did not show up due to his father's sickness. I don't know what happened to them but the trip to Love Desserts was able to push through. The desserts were overwhelming. Sugar rush is an understatement. I loved the cream puff, sorbet and milk teas! You can taste all the wonderful desserts for just P199. What more can you ask for this?

What: EK Hot Summer Fun + Paparazzi pics
When: April 12, 2012 Thursday
Where: Enchanted Kingdom, Sta. Rosa Laguna
Who: BondEEEs girl power edition

Another trip in Enchanted Kingdom was scheduled for BondEEEs. However, Jusey and Cid are missing in action once again. They seem to busy when there are summer outings like this. The trip was so much fun since we were able to try out rides that were not there before. We also saw some celebrities from the Kapamilya station like PBB teens of last season and Sam Concepcion. They were with some girls that are wearing skimpy outfits. I knew they are not from Laguna or anywhere around the Metro. Maybe they are based abroad and just took a break to see experience summer fun in the Philippines. Hazel, Nina and April stayed in our humble home once again after the trip. This is due to the fact that our place is the nearest crib from EK.

The next post will be about my graduation and post-celebration gala for it.  Quoting what Moose told Luke from Step Up 3, "The travel is more important than the arrival.
